First week of school holidays

We spent the first week of our school holiday in Ruawai, Northland, where my Mum, step Dad and Sister Shaina live. My Grandparents also live just around the corner. It's always nice to come for a visit to Mum's. I get to do as little or as much as I like.

We are able to get together for family dinners with the Grandparents or walk down to their place for an afternoon visit.

The kids enjoy driving to Dargaville or to Whangarei for an outing. We have been to both 2 or 3 times in the last week. (Yes shopping was involved)

My Mum adopted a new dog who needed re-homing while we were here. Her name is Bella and she is a 2 year old Bichon Shih Tzu. She is very loving and likes lots of attention. She had been abandoned and was rescued by a lady who took her home and cleaned her up. She has been living with the lady's Mother for the last three months, but she already has two other dogs and has been looking for a loving home for her.

Meet Bella:
Isn't she precious?

Here are some of the moments I captured while getting ready for dinner one night at Mum's.

Blow you a kiss

Cropped for Nudity purposes!

Squeak so wasn't wanting a photo with Mummy

Shaina 7 months pregnant

Typical photo from these two

Carefully placed shoes!

  1. Wow, Shaina is looking great! And since when did those kids start growing up? Jaybug especially has changed so much since I last saw her!
